  • Concept and challenges: Ryu is a traditional sushi bar, which offers a modern Western and Asian menu. The menu includes sushi, poké, bowls, salads, sake, beer. Ryu brings together all the assets for an experience, simple, rich and high in quality. By acquiring the expertise of the brand on the last three Ryu, Huma takes his great guidelines in color for this little newcomer from Peel Street. this tiny space was the founding challenge: recover every inch of the demolition of the old jewelery store to make a unique restaurant. The space does not allow the traditional sitting face to face of a restaurant, Humà strengthen the culinary experience with a bar, or even that of the 'standing sushi bar' of Tokyo. The reconfiguration of the space was made in all simplicity, but given the spatial constraints, it was obvious that the invoice of the project was to be found in the custom furniture. Humà drew all the furniture elements according to a space, but especially of a restricted budget to accentuate the astonishing airy effect of this environment at once clean and colorful.
