ENVIRONMENTAL
POLICY
-

Sustainability isn't limited to our plans: it permeates our actions, our choices, our conversations. At Humà Design + Architecture, we build with awareness, but also with conviction. Supporting, educating, and awakening—it's as much our responsibility as it is our profession. Because each project is also a platform. And each time an idea spreads, each time a client adopts a new reflex, it's a step closer to a culture of doing better.

IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
-

From the outset, our teams initiate an open dialogue with the client to raise awareness of sustainable development issues and actively involve them in their integration. This initial consultation can take different forms:

01.

The establishment, in collaboration with the client, of clear guidelines defining the level of integration of sustainable development principles in the project.

03.

Identification of risks that could compromise sustainable development objectives, with a mitigation plan and regular monitoring at each phase of the project.

02.

The definition of performance benchmarks to assess the project's sustainability success at each stage.

04.

A final review of learning – successes and areas for improvement – to inform even more effective implementation of sustainable principles in future projects.

IN-HOUSE MANAGEMENT
-

To achieve our sustainability goals, we have established a committee whose mission is to support the team in the harmonious integration of environmental, social, and economic objectives, both in projects and in the internal operations of the office. Its mandates are structured around the following axes:

01.

Develop a sustainable development report to monitor progress, analyze the office's environmental performance and adjust actions based on defined targets.

02.

Maintain active monitoring of relevant innovations, both in terms of sustainable materials and practices and tools promoting responsible project management.

03.

Carry out regular monitoring of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, drawing in particular on feedback and post-mortems of delivered projects.

04.

Ensure the dissemination of knowledge within the team, through the updating of the Practical Sustainable Development Tool (OPCD) and targeted training, of which at least 10% is devoted to climate issues each year.

Ensure continuous monitoring of environmental, social and governance issues, including by compiling post-mortem project results;
