The architecture is inspired by traditional forms and materials: volumes reminiscent of prospector tents, light-colored cladding adapted to the North, transparencies and visual openings onto the landscape. A monumental fresco created by a local artist and a teepee built by the community reinforce the cultural and identity anchors of the site.
The design, carried out in collaboration with the Cree cultural committee, focuses on a sustainable (hybrid wood-concrete structure, biophilia, energy performance) and participatory approach, offering a model of contemporary architecture adapted to northern realities.
