Mandate: Redefining Grande Allée of Boisbriand and the City Master Plan

Concept and challenges: The Boisbriand community center downtown redevelopment project aims to create a dynamic, attractive, and safe space by focusing on identity, mobility, and sustainability. Three distinct sectors will be developed: the event sector, incorporating an outdoor gathering place at Derek-Aucoin Park; the sports and leisure sector, encompassing various sports facilities around the arena; and the community sector, housing a multifunctional building for community services. This project seeks to reduce heat islands, optimize green spaces, and improve mobility for pedestrians and cyclists, all while reflecting the community's values.
