MONTREAL AIRPORT

Previously, the domestic jetty was solely dedicated to its airport function, allowing transit to the boarding areas. We transformed it into a true travel experience, integrated into a commercial area where the pleasure of the palate and the well-being of the passenger become the very essence of the place. Directly linked to the commercial vision developed for the entire international jetty, the development concept of this new sector was defined through its operation, its materiality and the integration of a strategic commercial route. The spaces were designed according to specific criteria and needs, such as the number of seats per square foot, in order to guide the user and enhance the two main commercial areas, restaurants and shops. Each of these areas stands out as a separate experience for the airport user, with the objective of increasing traffic and thus maximizing commercial revenue. Humà also developed the development guide for the integration of all the shops.
