BLAINVILLE, EXIT 24

The revision of the Exit 24 PPU aims to plan the development of one of the last strategic sites in Blainville, located between Highway 640 and Rosemère. This 26-hectare area is intended for mixed use combining multi-family housing, businesses, and public spaces, while protecting the Rivière aux Chiens and its surroundings.

The main development guidelines focus on four areas: sustainable mobility, integration of landscaped spaces, creation of a genuine living environment and design of an identity-based built environment. The measures include the continuity of cycle paths, planted buffer zones, multifunctional parks, and developments promoting social and generational diversity.

Finally, the architectural approach includes buildings with graduating heights, a layout that promotes sunlight, and eco-responsible solutions such as green roofs and eco-responsible businesses. The goal is to create a dense but harmonious, lively neighborhood, aligned with Blainville's ecological ambitions.
