ECOLUDIA ACORES
Ecoludia is expanding on the island of São Miguel with the ambition of creating a unique ecotourism experience, in harmony with the nature and history of the site. The development offers three main areas: an information center welcoming visitors with a reception, café, and parking; a network of discovery trails for pedestrians and cyclists allowing them to contemplate the landscape; and a "zoobox" sector composed of forty lodges integrated into the forest, equipped with outdoor baths.

The architecture emphasizes simplicity of form, topographical integration, and the use of local materials such as wood and volcanic stone. Existing heritage buildings are being respectfully restored and transformed, incorporating touches of local color and a minimalist contemporary design.
The proposed experience invites you to slow down and connect with the territory: belvederes, poetic installations, shared gardens and coffee plantations become places of contemplation, tasting and meeting.
