The project is summarized by the positioning of two slightly offset volumes; there is a wooden pavilion with its private spaces on two floors while a long horizontal pavilion with its stone cladding offers a living space, completely open from the kitchen to the two living rooms. The volumes are connected by a hall open on two floors. This connection offers a visual breakthrough from the street to the lake.
The large horizontal stone wall surrounding the kitchen allows the house to be hidden away and create more intimate interior spaces on the street side. A large fireplace clad in the same stone is the central structural core of the house. Its verticality is striking, but it also provides a visual link to the exterior. The choice of natural stone and wood cladding makes the house more discreet while blending in with its surroundings.
