MV
The MV experience in Dorval, including MV 1, 2, and 3, promises superior housing in the heart of a sought-after location. Bordered by vast open spaces and nestled in a residential area, this residential neighborhood located west of Montreal offers spacious townhouses, duplexes, and lofts, for a total of 750 units already occupied. Within reach of professionals, this project is dear to Humà, who designed the interior, all the visual communication, and produced a significant portion of the architecture.

This project notably includes the redevelopment of "La Rotonde": the circular building, originally the cafeteria, built over a 100ft x 100ft pool and connected to the main building by a glass bridge. The new functions occupying this space—a gym, lounge, cafeteria with bar, and adjacent catering kitchen—have been successfully integrated into the restored original architecture.
The bar is located beneath the original 7ft x 26ft ceramic tile mural executed around 1961 by Claude Vermette and designed by the artist Mousseau: the "M" and "V" to which the project refers.
Several elements of MV demonstrate environmental awareness. This project was designed based on LEED project recommendations. For example, the selection of material suppliers within a certain radius and healthy building materials, such as renewable wood.
