Common Ground

This ambitious project proposes to transform this iconic site into an inspiring living environment, anchored in the city's identity and meeting the neighborhood's housing needs. With an investment of more than $120 million, the project includes the construction of 214 residential units, divided into stacked townhouses and multiplexes, thus offering a diversity of housing in the heart of the city. The redevelopment of the Dare factory represents a unique opportunity to participate in the consolidation of the living environment in the Saint-Charles sector.

The project is influenced by Saint-Lambert's recognizable architecture, incorporating multifunctional pathways resulting from the city's well-initiated urban planning. In addition, the planning of shared green spaces and the continued greenery characterizing the streets of Saint-Lambert reinforce the neighborhood's green and welcoming character. In short, this redevelopment project aims to create a harmonious and modern residential environment, respectful of Saint-Lambert's historical identity and designed to meet the current and future needs of its residents.

Located near the Saint-Lambert train station, the Coupal and Dare sites offer a unique opportunity for redevelopment based on TOD (Transit Oriented Development) principles. See the Oakville Coupal Dare Master Plan Urban Development project.
